1. General
We respect your personal rights and understand the importance of the personal data we receive from you. We will collect, save or process all data collected exclusively in accordance with the relevant data protection regulations for our own business purposes. Insofar as Internet pages and / or services from other providers are accessible or linked via our website, we are not responsible for their content and in particular their data protection handling.
2. Collection of personal data
When you order products from us, we collect personal data, such as title, first name, surname, address, zip code, city, e-mail address and, if applicable, telephone number. Mandatory information for the order are marked as mandatory fields. Further information can be filled in voluntarily. In addition, our servers automatically record certain data that your web browser sends when you visit a website. This data can in particular contain the IP address you are using, your browser type, your browser language and the date and time of your browser request. We also use so-called cookies as part of the shopping cart functionality. Cookies are small text files that enable your recognition in certain areas. Our shopping cart cookie is automatically deleted after the ordering process has been completed, so it is only active for one "session" at a time. We would like to point out that you can prevent the installation of cookies by setting your browser accordingly. In this case, however, the shopping cart functionality of our website may not be fully usable.
3. Use of personal data
We assure you that all personal data will be treated confidentially and that we will adhere to the legal provisions of the GDPR when processing and using data. The data you provide and save as part of an order process will be processed by us. If you have also given your consent to subscribe to our newsletter, we will also use your data for the purpose of sending the newsletter. We point out that you can of course object to the use of your personal data for advertising purposes at any time by sending a short message to info@droneclass.nl.
4. Security
We use technical and organizational security measures to protect your data managed by us or on our behalf against manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons. We strive to continuously update and improve our security measures in line with technological developments.
5. Further questions
Upon request, we will inform you in writing whether and which personal data we may have stored about you. If you have any further questions about data protection with regard to our website, write to us at info@droneclass.nl and we will try to resolve your data protection concerns. Please also note that these data protection provisions may be changed from time to time. However, we will not restrict your rights under this data protection declaration without your express consent. We assume that most of the changes required will be minor. Notwithstanding this, we will announce changes to this privacy policy on this website.
6. Webshop
The platform for this webshop is Shopify (Shopify Inc., USA). We only transfer personal data to third parties if this is necessary in the context of contract processing, for example to the company entrusted with the delivery of the goods or the credit institution commissioned with the payment processing. A further transmission of the data does not take place or only if you have expressly consented to the transmission. Your data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent, e.g. for advertising purposes. The basis for data processing is Article 6, paragraph 1 b) of the GDPR, which allows the processing of data for the fulfillment of a contract or for the benefit of pre-contractual measures. Otherwise it is not possible to place an order through our webshop or to process it. If there is an obligation to provide us with your payment data (e.g. account number for direct debit authorization) after entering into a paid contract, this data is required for payment processing. Payment transactions using common means of payment are made exclusively via an encrypted SSL or TLS connection. With encrypted communication, your payment data, that you transmit, cannot be viewed by third parties.
7. Online Learning
The Drone Class digital learning environment is facilitated by iSpring Solutions Inc., USA. iSpring stores the data of European customers with provider FirstColo (ISO 27001 certified), which is located in Frankfurt am Main. iSpring uses real-time backup systems to prevent data loss and service interruptions. iSpring is committed to protecting the data of customers and end users from unauthorized access. They guarantee compliance in accordance with the guidelines of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
8. Automation
We use "Zaps" from Zapier Inc., USA to process your order. With a zap, your name and email address are passed on to iSpring so that you can register within a few minutes. Zapier will not sell or rent any personal information or information you provide to us to third parties. We save your name, exam date and exam location in Google Sheets. This way we can schedule exams immediately and create attendance lists.
We use a chatbot with AI via Gleap.io to answer visitors' questions as quickly as possible. No rights can be derived from this. Gleap.io has its own privacy policy.
9. Identification
We are required by the Dutch authorities to identify each participant by means of a passport or ID card verification. We use Veriff for this verification. Read the Veriff privacy policy here. Veriff will check your identity and let us know if this verification is successful.
10. Proctored exams
We are required by the Dutch authorities to use proctored exams for the A2 certificate and theory specific exams. We are using ProctorEdu, which has its own privacy policy.
11. Data retention
We do not retain your personal data longer than is legally permissible to realise the purposes for which your data are collected. For ProctorEdu (recording during exams) and Veriff (participant identification), we apply a maximum retention period of six months. Drone Class only provides third parties and only when necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.
12. Marketing Services
This website uses cookies. These cookies ensure that we can provide you with information as optimally as possible and occasionally display an advertisement on other websites. Like many other websites, we use cookies and weblog files to track website usage and trends, to improve the quality of our service, to customise your experience at Drone Class B.V., to display featured customer portfolio content based on your search criteria, industry or field of work. Cookies are small data files that the website you visit may store on your hard drive. You can delete or block cookies using the settings in your browser. However, in some cases, this may cause the website of Drone Class B.V. to not function fully.
12.1 Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and that enable your use of the website to be analyzed. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address) is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity for the website operator and to provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google. Under no circumstances will Google associate your IP address with other Google data. You can prevent the installation of cookies by setting your browser accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. By using this website, you consent to the processing of the data collected about you by Google in the manner described above and for the purpose stated above. You can object to the collection and storage of data at any time with future effect. In view of the discussion about the use of analysis tools with full IP addresses, we would like to point out that this website uses Google Analytics with the extension "_anonymizeIp ()" and therefore IP addresses are only processed in abbreviated form in order to exclude a direct link to people.
12.2 Facebook pixel
The Facebook Pixel is a service provided by Facebook Inc., USA. This enables us to determine target groups for advertisements on Facebook, so-called "Facebook Ads", based on website visits and surfing behavior there. We also use this pixel to measure the effectiveness of online marketing measures. This enables us to track the actions of users after they have seen and / or clicked on a Facebook ad and then placed an order. When you visit the website, the pixel is directly integrated by Facebook and can save a cookie on your device. If you log in to Facebook or have already logged into Facebook, your website visit will be noted in your profile. The user data collected is anonymous to us and therefore does not allow us to draw any conclusions about the identity of the user. However, this data is stored and processed by Facebook in a way that it is possible to draw conclusions about the respective user profile. The data processing by Facebook takes place according to the date Facebook's Usage Policy. If you are not a member of Facebook, you are not affected by this data processing.
